Dr. Mamoru Shoji is a physician and serves as an associate professor for the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine. Since graduating from Hokkaido University in Japan with a Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Shoji has completed internships at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, as well as fellowship training in immunology at the Peter Bent Brigham and Robert Breck Brigham Hospitals, and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Emory University. Dr. Shoji has also served as a post doctorate fellow at Emory University and, in 1973, landed his current position with the Emory School of Medicine at Emory University.
