Ammi Cutter of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and then as an associate and a partner of Palmer & Dodge. In 1974, Mr. Perera was appointed a Judge of the Middlesex Probate Court where he served until 1979 when he became a partner in the firm of Hemenway & Barnes and where he is currently of counsel.
Mr. Perera is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and the American Law Institute. He has been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World.
Mr. Perera's civic and charitable activities have included the Boston Opera Association, the Boston Finance Commission, the Back Bay Architectural Commission, Wang Center for the Performing Arts, the Boston Athenæum, and the Humane Society of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
