Several years later he was named the first Executive Chair of the firm, a role in which he led the firm's strategic direction and managed the corporate and litigation functions of the entire firm. Towards the end of his time with that firm, Mr. Martucci pursued executive education at Harvard Business School focusing on Leadership in the Professional Services Firm. In addition to his current leadership role with Shook, Hardy & Bacon, he serves as the leader of the national employment litigation and policy practice.

He serves as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council.
In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Martucci affiliates himself with the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation, where he is a member of the employment and labor relations committee, equal employment opportunity litigation committee, and the executive committee on continuing legal education.
