She specializes in the areas of title and conveyancing issues, and municipal real estate matters, and represents affordable housing trusts and re-development authorities as well as private individuals. A highly-regarded lecturer and public speaker, she has also participated in high-level legislative task forces and association committees. Ms. O'Donnell earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. After graduating, she began as a title attorney for Lawyers Title Insurance Corp., where she worked from 1979 until 1985. Subsequently, she served as an associate at Ropes & Gray and several smaller firms. She started her own firm Dillingham & O'Donnell in 1992. After closing the firm, she joined Kopelman and Paige P.C., specializing in municipal real estate law.
Ms. O'Donnell is a member of The Abstract Club, Boston Bar Association, Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and CREW Boston. Throughout her career, she has contributed her knowledge to many legal works as an editor and author, including, "Handling Residential Real Estate in Massachusetts," and, "Massachusetts Real Estate Law Sourcebook and Citator." In recognition of her achievements, she has been included in five volumes of Who's Who in American Law and six volumes of Who's Who of American Women.
