Throughout her notable career, Ms. Anderson has been celebrated for her work in the field. Since the turn of the century, she earned an Alumni Achievement Award from Fordham University, a Community Service Award from New York State United Teachers, and a Positive Image Award from the Key Women of America's Concourse Village Branch.
