Dr. Nandedkar, an independent research scientist, engineer, and retired educator who spent nearly 40 years teaching at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India, enjoyed every moment that he spent in the classroom. Paying it forward to the next generation of students, he began his career as a lecturer in the electrical engineering department in 1969 before moving on to the positions of assistant professor in 1976, and associate professor in 2001 before retiring in 2006.
Obtaining a BSc at Holkar Scientific College, an MSc in Physics at Indore University, followed by a MTech and a PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, Dr. Nandedkar is the recipient of dozens and dozens of awards, including two lifetime achievement awards, one in physics and electrical engineering granted by The United Cultural Convention in Raleigh, NC, and one given by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Honorable Minister of Railways, Government of India, granted by The Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage in Kolkata, India. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards from The American Biographical Institute, The Integrated Council for Socio-Economical Progress, The Global Brotherhood Forum, The International Biographical Centre, and The Friendship Forum, just to name a few.
