Boasting an impressive background in finance and banking, Investment Advisor Thomas Leffingwell Pulling first graduated from Princeton University with his Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in 1961. Quickly getting acclimated in his field of expertise, he became an Assistant Treasurer for J.P. Morgan & Company Inc. in New York City soon after graduation, remaining with the banking giant for more than five years. Over the course of the next near decade, Mr. Pulling served as Vice-President of New York Securities Company, followed by L.M. Rosenthal & Company, both out of New York City. By 1976, he had acquired a position with Sherson Loeb Rhoades of New York City as Managing Director; the company was acquired in the 1990's by Citigroup. He retired from Citigroup as a managing director in 2006.
Actively involved in his community, Mr. Pulling has been serving on the Board of Directors of The Henry Luce Foundation since 1988. He serves on the board of Woodlawn Cemetery. He is a Trustee Emeritus of the Norman Rockwell Museum and Long Island University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962-1967. He is a Republican and Episcopalian. Born to T.J. Edward and Lucy (Leffingwell), his has been happily married to wife Eileen Kingsbury-Smith since December 1989 and has five children from previous marriages.
In his down time, Mr. Pulling spends time as an active member of numerous organizations throughout his community, including, Council on Foreign Relations, the Pilgrims of the US in New York City, The Bohemian Club of San Francisco, The Brook Club of New York City, University Club of New York City, and the Piping Rock Club of Locust Valley, New York. Notably, he has been recognized in more than three dozen Who's Who publications, including Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in the World, dating back to 1991.
