Mr. Moon has served in both academic and artistic roles throughout the course of his career.

Supported by almost 40 years of experience in his field, Mr. Moon has served in both academic and artistic roles throughout the course of his career. Back in the late 1970s, he began as an instructor at Dashin Junior High School. From there, he held a number of academic roles for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kaes College, Hongik University, Ewha Women's University, Chugae University, and the Dong-Ah Institute of Media & Arts. In the midst of working in academia, Mr. Moon worked in a variety of artistic roles, including juror for the Korea Disabled People Art Competition, the Art Project Support Fund through the Korean Ministry of Culture, the Korea Student's Art Stamp Competition, and the Korea Fine Art Grand Exhibition.
A talented artist in his own right, Mr. Moon has exhibited his work in a number of invitational exhibitions such as the Contemporary Korean Printmakers Association & The LA Printmaking Society Exchange Exhibition, the Seoul Print Exchange Exhibition, and the National Printmakers Invitational Exhibition. Additionally, he has had the honor of having his work featured in solo and group exhibitions, including the Chicago International Art Expositio, SOFA New York, SOFA Chicago, Chicago International New Art Forms Exposition, Osaka Art Fair, the Big People Harmony Art Festival, the Hawaii National Print Exhibition, and the Seoul Print Art Fair.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moon has contributed his extensive knowledge to a number of creative works, including the cover designs for "The Moon Toward the West," "A Dictionary of Happiness Words," and "A Dream of Martrid." He has also written on the arts for publications such as Huber Heights Courier, Naewae Economy News, the Chosun Daily News, the U.S.A. Gallery Guide, and the Korean Craft Council Magazine. Notably, he has been recognized many times for his professional endeavors, earning the Second Place Prize through the North Gyeongsang Province Students Essay Competition, and the Excellence Award through the Kimhae Arts Competition.
