Dr. Miller completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and then focused his efforts on an additional Fellowship in cardiology at the same institution.
Beyond his status as a conscientious health care provider, Dr. Miller has been recognized many times for his professional endeavors. Since 2008, he has been featured in two volumes of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, three volumes of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, five volumes of Who's Who in the World, and six volumes of Who's Who in America. In addition, he has been annually named one of the "Top Doctors in Texas" from 2004 through 2016.
In May, 2016, Dr. Miller and his wife, Sheila, established an Endowed Chair in Medical Physics at Clemson University.
Dr. Miller has announced his retirement from the practice of cardiology on June 30, 2017, after providing cardiac care to literally thousands of patients in the North Central Texas area.
