Dr. Ventolini is an internationally renowned doctor of all aspects of reproductive medicine, and is in demand for conferences, professional journals, and as a visiting medical staff around the country.
Born in Peru, Dr. Ventolini earned a superior classic baccalaurean degree from the French Lyceum in Colombia despite the closing of the first school he attended, Valle University. He traveled to Italy to attend the University of Padova's medicine and surgery program and served his internship with the Civil Hospital of Santa Maria del Prato, as well as an obstetrics and gynecology preceptorship with the Darien Hospital in Columbia. Dr. Ventolini arrived in the U.S. as an extern and house physician with the North Shore Medical Center in Florida, and went on to serve as a resident in South Carolina and Ohio later in his career. The journey over many countries has afforded him opportunities for numerous roles in the medical sphere, including a clinical teaching career with the Libre University in Colombia, three years as an investigator for the World Health Organization, and 10 years as a leading professor of obstetrics and gynecology for the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
In May of 2012, Dr. Ventolini joined the school of medicine at Texas Tech University, and was recognized for his dedication with an endowed position. He has served in an administrative role for numerous schools, notably Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Ventolini was granted membership with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as medical licenses in four states.
Additionally, Dr. Ventolini was a founding member of the Institute for Human Reproduction and the Apromeli medical school. Dr. Ventolini continues to support numerous medical societies, in particular the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease. He is the author of a prolific number of medical articles, and has reviewed many more for the medical community.
For his international medical achievements, Dr. Ventolini was selected for the 2011 to 2012 volume of Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare. He has accrued a slew of accolades, most recently as a 2016 Distinguished Professor of Texas Tech, and with a 2014 Community Statesman Award from the Heritage of Odessa Foundation and Odessa American.
