He has published numerous articles in professional journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science Journal, and the Nuclear Engineering and Technology Journal. He has also presented his research at conferences around the world, and Dr. Lee is a member of IEEE, KNS, and the PMI Group.
In 2016, Dr. Lee was named in 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Centre. In 2006, he was honored with the President's Award by the KEPCO Engineering & Construction Company, and he received the Competent Toastmaster Award from Toastmasters International in 2003. He is also listed in Who's Who in the World.
Dr. Lee is a veteran, having served as a Sergeant of the Army of the Republic of Korea from 1991 to 1993. He is married to Hyun Suk Jeon and has two sons, Seung Jun Lee and Seung Wook Lee.
