Boasting more than 30 years of experience in his chosen field, Mr. Ham has been serving as an associate electrical engineer in the energy division electrical department at Burns & McDonnell for the past 16 years. Responsible for electrical system power flow, short circuit and relay coordination studies, conceptual and detail design, one-line diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, and detailed installation design for electrical power generation projects, he has worked in several notable positions, including assistant project manager, project electrical group supervisor, project electrical lead engineer, project electrical application engineer, electrical design engineer, and resident field engineer for both new installations and retrofit projects.
Much of Mr. Ham's experience was obtained at the Combined Cycle Plant, the Super Critical Coal Fired power stations, the IGCC plant, the CTL Plant, and cogeneration and diesel-driven power plants. Additionally, he also has experience with HV substation and distribution facilities.

Mr. Ham received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1986 and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1992, both at Hanyang University in Korea. He holds registrations as a professional engineer in the state of Missouri, as well as in the Republic of Korea. He was previously employed with Korea Power Engineering Company from 1986 to 2002.
Born in South Korea, Mr. Ham immigrated to the U.S. and became a U.S. citizen. He is happily married to Suk Yun with two children. His daughter Cindy is attending law school and his son Jun-Sik is a mechanical engineer for Apple. A longtime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Mr. Ham has consistently been named to every edition of Who's Who in America since 2012.
