She is accustomed to providing group health and group long-term disability insurance, particularly with business owners' insurance, cooperative insurance, disability insurance, and renters insurance, a large share of the metropolitan New York insurance market. In particular, she has handled sales for cooperative apartment renters, providing protections that were once limited to home owners.
Ms. Landes has found success through perseverance and business development skills, and is certified as a licensed property and casualty insurance broker as well as a licensed life and health insurance broker in the state of New York. As a matter of course, Ms. Landes has also delved into advertising, marketing and product management in the running of her company, as handling welfare benefit plans has become old hat for the more-than-capable manager.
As a prominent member of the bustling New York insurance community, Ms. Landes has supported the Columbia Business School Club, the Alumni Association at the University at Buffalo and at Columbia University, and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce. She also supports her local police department and her alma mater with the University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc. In her free time, Ms. Landes enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and reading, particularly Business Insurance and Newsweek.
