A graduate of prestigious Korea institutions, Dr. Kim holds a PhD, during which he studied the toxic effects of dietary lead exposure and detoxification effects of ascorbic acid in juvenile rockfish. Additionally, he holds certifications in marine environments, water quality environments, and fisheries aquatic organism disease inspection. Over the years, he has lent his expertise to a variety of publications, including 20 SCI papers and six domestic papers, covering the effects of dietary chromium exposure to rockfish, as well as the effects of sub-chronic exposure to lead and ascorbic acid in juvenile rockfish antioxidant responses, MT gene expression and neurotransmitters.
Beyond his status as a leader in his field, Dr. Kim has been recognized many times for his work in the field, earning such prizes as the Busan Future Science Award. In the coming years, Dr. Kim intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
