Dr. Lee has supported Zonta International, the largest supporter of UN Women program partnered with UNFPA & U.S. Fund for UNICEF, as a UN Committee Chair in District 32 to foster cooperation and communication in the Republic of Korea. She has also been an important international liaison in the Korean economics community as a volunteer translator of the Before Babel Brigade since 2002 FIFA World Cup for decades to help global travelers in the Republic of Korea.
Born to B.S. Lee and K.S. Kim, Dr. Lee attended the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, later earning a PhD from Ewha Womans University. Dr. Lee has been a prolific contributor to industry publications in the field of healthcare management, innovation, hospital information technology, clinical data management system, and essential surgical care for LMIC. The development of performance evaluation framework in those fields is particularly recognized among worldwide academics who mentioned her name. Involved in policy-related research, several contributions she made are the globalization of medical Korea, public-private-partnership of official development assistance, medical technology assessment and the utilization of Korean medical panel. Dr. Lee is the recipient of a Professor of the Year Award from BW Cyber Education as well as a Best Researcher Award from the Korea Society Management Information Systems. Teaching healthcare management for hospital staffs, medical school professors and management consultants at the university is her critical duty. She has been a recognized master of the Young Adults Mentorship Club as well as a fellow of the Korean Institute Health and Social Affairs (KIHSA), the Korean Society Internet Society (KSIS) and the Global Health TF Committee of Catholic University of Korea. Dr. Lee holds memberships with the WHO EESC, the Korean Academic Association of Business Administration (AABA) and Zonta Korea.

Considering North Korean defectors as a bridge for the unification, she has implemented a vaccine shot project for NK defectors sponsored by a global pharmaceutical company in her university. Serving as a founding member of One Korea, she supported the SAM hospital at Dandong located at the border of China and North Korea in addition to various activities such as translating international documents for a domestic publication, running a scholarship program and initiating a one to one mentorship program. Dr. Lee has held a number of roles for her Christian community, including medical mission coordinator and facilitator for China, Cambodia, Indonesia and the Philippines. She has also served as a committee member of the Vision 2020 TF Committee. She was featured in the pages of the 2016/ 2017 volume of Who's Who in the World. Dr. Lee is married to Seichang Oh, and is the proud mother of Daniel and Brian.
