An award-winning neonatologist, Dr. Roseberry brings with her nearly 50 years of expertise and compassion as a medical doctor focused on the special care of newborn. In particular, she diagnoses, treats and coordinates medical care for newborns demonstrating the symptoms of breathing disorders, infections, or other birth defects. While many patients are those who are born prematurely, Dr. Roseberry is tremendously qualified and experienced in treating full-term newborns who are critically ill and in need of surgery soon after birth. She retired from clinical practice in September 2015.
At present, Dr. Roseberry serves as an independent consultant and contractor for opportunities for Ohioans with disabilities. In recognition of her professional excellence, Dr. Roseberry earned a Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association every year since 1992, as well as the Minnie L. Maffett Award from the Texas Federation of Business and Professional Women's Foundation. Additionally, she was selected for inclusion into Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who of American Women.
Prior to establishing her career, Dr. Roseberry took the necessary steps to prepare herself for a profession in the medical field and continued in her craft by obtaining additional certifications. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Wake Forest University, a Master of Science in zoology from Oregon State University, and an MD from the University of Texas. Dr. Roseberry completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by a fellowship in neonatology at the same medical institution. She is certified as a diplomate by the American Board of Pediatrics in neonatal-perinatal medicine and pediatrics. She held medical licenses in eight states prior to retirement.
Dr. Roseberry is recognized in her industry as a leader and an active member of prominent professional organizations. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Ohio State Medical Association. As she looks to the future, Dr. Roseberry intends to continue providing top of the line care as a neonatologist in the state of Ohio and chart reviews for opportunities for Ohioans with disabilities.
