Beginning her career as a student of the University of Michigan in 2001, Dr. Siegel graduated with a BS in Biochemistry, with honors, in 2005. Continuing her studies at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Siegel received an MD with high distinction in 2009. Following her graduation, Dr. Siegel was employed as a resident of otolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center. She was subsequently promoted to the position of administrative chief resident from 2013 to 2014.
Following her residency, Dr. Siegel completed a one year long pediatric otolaryngology fellowship from the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).
In 2015 following her fellowship, Dr. Siegel also accepted a position as an assistant professor within the department of otolaryngology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Her pediatric practice is based at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. As an esteemed otolaryngologist and educator, Dr. Siegel is affiliated with various organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.

Her accomplishments have garnered her several accolades over the course of her vocational endeavors. In 2009, the Wayne State University School of Medicine awarded Dr. Siegel with the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation. The same year, she was the recipient of the Wayne State University School of Medicine's Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Siegel earned the Difference Maker Award from the Children's Hospital of Michigan in 2016, as well as the Teacher of the Year Award Otolaryngology from Detroit Medical Center in 2017.
Dr. Siegel has held several leadership positions within scientific organizations. Dr. Siegel was a local chair of the World Health Student Organization for Wayne State University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2007. As a student, she also was the vice president of Alpha Omega Alpha from 2008 to 2009. Since starting her career at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, Dr. Siegel has directed the basic science course for the Wayne State University otolaryngology residents. She also serves as a board member on the Lions Hearing Club and is co-director of the aerodigestive program at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
