With over 40 years of experience in the field, Dr. Myslinski has served as an associate professor at Rutgers University, and Director of the Human Performance Lab for the Doctoral program of Physical Therapy since 1995. She was also administrative director of rehab services at St. Elizabeth Hospital from 1993 to 1995, and served in many capacities at JFK Medical Center.
Dr. Myslinski began her career by obtaining a BS in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1977. She then went on to earn an MA in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy from New York University in 1982, before earning a Master's and Doctorate of Education in Applied Physiology from Columbia University in 1985. Throughout her career, she has contributed to a number of professional journals, including the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis and the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy. She has written on virtual reality cycling after a stroke and on muscle training for adults with cystic fibrosis.
