Dr. Lee began her career as a student with Chonbuk National University, where she earned a Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. She then completed a Master of Science in radiation oncology in 2008, and served in a residency with the Department of Radiation Oncology until 2009. She later earned a PhD in radiation oncology with the school in 2012.
Throughout her career, Dr. Lee has been recognized for her contributions to the industry. In 2016, she was commended with the 2016 International Congress of Hyperthermic Oncology Award. Aside from her professional success, she also celebrates almost 20 years of marriage with Heon Jeong Lee, with whom she has one daughter.
