Born in Romania, Dr. Stoica ended her 35-year career in computer engineering as a senior technical specialist in hardware and software test strategies in the research and vehicle technology division at Ford Motor Company in 2004. Her lengthy portfolio in the industry began in Bucharest in 1969 as a junior research engineer turned senior research engineer for the Institute of Computer Research. She later worked in several different countries, spending time in Tel Aviv as an engineer for Ramzorei Siemens Industry, Ltd., and in Toronto, Canada, as a senior electrical engineer for Control Data Canada, Ltd.
Relocating to the U.S. in 1985, Dr. Stoica began working in the same capacity for Control Data Corporation in Minneapolis, moving into other roles with the company over the next three years eventually becoming a consultant for very large-scale integrated (VLSI) technology and electronic computer aided design, Dr. Stoica then assumed the role of chief scientist and manager of advanced research with Delphax Systems back in Toronto. In 1993, she became employed with Ford as a senior technical specialist as part of their vehicle technology division, developing design and test strategies for vehicle electronics.
Since retiring in 2004, Dr. Stoica has branched out into entrepreneurship as the chief executive officer of Healing Alternative, Inc., where she is using her inborn gift of healing the human energy field. She is also certified both as a healing touch practitioner and as a hypnotherapist. As an author, Susana Stoica wrote several books, the two most recent ones were published in 2016. Having recovered by using her own brain injury recovery program, she is now lecturing on: how to be prepared for an eventual brain injury to help medical doctors diagnose the concussion with higher accuracy, how to limit the extent of brain injury by applying the first aid measures that she successfully applied to herself and many others, and methods one can use at any age to recover from brain injury and actually improve brain cognitive capabilities. She is also lecturing on many other physical and emotional healing related subjects.
Dr. Stoica earned a Master of Science at Polytechnical Institute in Bucharest in 1969 and a PhD in 1991. An inventor in the field of engineering who has also contributed numerous articles in professional journals, she is a registered professional engineer in the country of Canada. She is affiliated with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, as well as the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, Healing Touch Program, and Healing Beyond Borders.
