NEW YORK, NY, February 27, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Dean Ringel, Esq., with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Ringel celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A partner at Cahill Gordon & Reindel, LLP, in New York City from 1979 to 2014, Mr. Ringel served as law clerk to Judge Anthony Celebrezze of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1971-2. He then spent the first seven years after his clerkship at Cahill as an associate attorney and the next 35 years as partner. A longtime member of their litigation and antitrust practice groups, he has extensive experience in antitrust, media law, intellectual property and appellate areas, and has been known for having counseled or litigated in a variety of high-visibility media and antitrust matters. During the course of his career at Cahill, Mr. Ringel also served as president of the defense counsel section and as a member of the executive committee of the Media Law Resource Center (MLRC). Mr. Ringel has taught courses in American legal history, justice in the western tradition and a history of freedom of the press in the United States.
