Previously, she was a clinical consultant of psycho social and mental health disorders on the number one talk show in the Middle East ("Sireh Winfatahet" with host Mr. Zaven Koumoumdjian on Future Television, Lebanon) from 2003 to 2012. Dr. Habbal also served as a psychotherapist for Saint George Hospital University Medical Center from 1996 to 1997 and a part-time instructor for Haigazian University in 1993. She has also held multiple positions with American University of Beirut, serving as a career counselor from 1985 to 1994, a part-time instructor from 1988 to 1994, and an instructor from 1994 to 2000.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Habbal pursued an education at the American University of Beirut, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a teaching diploma in 1984. She followed this accomplishment with a Master of Arts in educational psychology in 1986, also at the American University of Beirut. Dr. Habbal concluded her studies in 1995, graduating from Université Saint-Joseph with a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology.
Beyond her efforts within the field, Dr. Habbal has contributed to numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. Since 2004, she has served as a mental health consultant at the Gulf Diagnostic Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Furthermore, she was a family medical consultant for the American University of Beirut from 2000 to 2006. In addition to her primary trade, Dr. Habbal remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise, such as the American Psychological Association.
She is the author of "Shahed Ala Almoujtamaa" (Witness on Society), published in 2013 and Financial intelligence: the psychology of finance, published in 2015.
In light of her exceptional undertakings, Dr. Habbal has accrued several accolades and honors throughout her impressive career. She has been previously presented with an award from the Lebanese Society of Family Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Habbal has been selected for inclusion in several editions of Who's Who in the World.
