In addition to his academic degrees, Dr. Lee holds a medical license and specialized certifications in internal medicine, gastrointestinal endoscopy and gastroenterology. Dr. Lee is a highly prolific author of original articles in international publications such as Endoscopy, the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Liver International and the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In recognition of his research and writing abilities, he received a Best Paper Award from the Yonsei University College of Medicine and the Best Poster Award from the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer.
