In addition, he acts as a member of the executive committee of the university's Multicare Project Group (CK-1 Project). Dr. Han has also provided medical services at Nonsan Military Hospital.
Dr. Han graduated from Kyungwon University General Graduate School with a Master of Science and a PhD in herbal medicine. Certified as a social worker and caregiver, he also acts as the director of the Plant Resources Society of Korea, the Korea Society of Health Service Management, the Institute of Healthcare Industry, the Alternative Medicine Society, the Korean Society of Integrative Oncology, and the Institute of Alternative Medicine. Dr. Han is renowned for his research and experiments on natural products.
Influenced by his father, a former doctor and professor of oriental medicine who taught at the graduate school of Kyung Hee University, Dr. Han was inspired to enter medicine from an early age. Throughout his 50 years in the profession, his father has emphasized one essential principal of medicine: "attitude of mind." His father developed a strong network of patients that believed he was practicing the "healing art of medicine." Parents, their children, and their great grandchildren all found their way to his offices. As a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, Dr. Han has now taken over his father's role and great sense of duty toward patient care.
Dr. Han emphasizes empirically grounding traditional knowledge on the benefits and effects of traditional herbal medicine through scientific evidence. He has published his research in internationally renowned scientific journals and domestic eminent journals, grounding the benefits and traditional knowledge of herbal medicine scientifically. He has also presented his research in academic settings and at the RNA Society Conference. Over the next five years, Dr. Han hopes to continue in the scientific study of traditional herbal medicine, also hoping to continue in his efforts to educate students on how to improve their fieldwork skills in hospital management and optimal care management, focusing on the qualifications required for health and medical administration professionals. Dr. Han is the husband of Kim Miok and father of Han Daeun and Han Doeun. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies and singing.
