PENFIELD, NY, April 20, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Dennis E. McGee, Ph.D., with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. McGee celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Now retired after a successful career as a research chemist, Dr. McGee amassed more than 30 years of experience working for companies in the chemicals and plastics industries. Between 1991 and 2014, he was a senior scientist at a research center in Macedon, New York, that was successively owned and operated by Mobil, Chemical ExxonMobil, Chemical, and Jindal Films Americas. He finished his career as the lead specialist for coating development. Before moving to New York, he was a research chemist for the science and technology division of the Unocal Corporation.
Apart from his technical contributions, which included several patents and contributions to articles in professional journals in his field, Dr. McGee has written two books concerning biblical studies. "Messages from God," published in 2000, systematically derived a biblical interpretation for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which showed profound support for major tenets of the Christian faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His second book, "Habakkuk's Burden: Overcoming Pride to Walk by Faith in the Face of Adversity" explores the Hebrew biblical figure's prophecy and offers practical tie-ins for the life of modern Christians that want to live out their faith in a world that is becoming increasingly hostile to it. In his pinnacle career achievement, technology and theology intersected when, in answer to a very specific prayer, he received inspiration and technical direction from a prophetic passage in the Book of Romans that enabled him to resolve a confounding technical issue in the development of a premier label film.
Dr. McGee holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon and a Doctor of Philosophy from the California Institute of Technology. Married to Dorothy L. Kapitan since 1980, he is a proud father of three children. In his spare time, he enjoys Bible study, writing, and fishing.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Dennis E. McGee, Ph.D., has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
