THURMONT, MD, June 27, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Bruce M. Schuettinger with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Schuettinger celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than 35 years of experience in his field, Mr. Schuettinger has owned and operated a series of companies dedicated to wooden artifacts and interior wooden architectural elements conservation. Schuettinger Conservations Services, Inc. has been committed to conserving the world's cultural property since 1993. Schuettinger Conservation Services has a list of prominent clients who have called upon the company for its expertise in preserving antique wooden furniture and fixtures. Perhaps the most notable among these clients are the administrative offices of several government facilities in Washington DC, including the Office of the Vice President of the United States, located in the Old Executive Building, The United States House of Representatives, the Department of State, the Architect of the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, and The Folger Shakespeare Library, just to name a few.

As a former faculty member of the Appraisal Studies and Connoisseurship programs at George Washington University from 1993 to 2003, Mr. Schuettinger developed and taught a course entitled "The Fundamentals of Authenticating Period Furniture" in 1995, 1997, 1999 and twice in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Mr. Schuettinger's second company, the award-winning Mosart, Inc., focuses on the designing and crafting fine art furniture which is based on known artistic movements and specific artists' works while utilizing the finest hand craftsmanship. These aesthetics include, but are not limited to, Abstract Expressionism, Abstract Illusionism, Cubism, Constructivism, Neo-Plasticism and the De Stijl movements. His work has been described as "museum worthy" by food and lifestyle blogger Sam Henderson, and his pieces have been exhibited in a number of art shows, including the Spectrum Miami, Red Dot, Art Spot, Art Expo New York, and Art Market Hamptons. His work is currently being represented by Aldo Castillo Gallery and ArtBlend. Rather than relying on paints and stains to create colorful works of art, Mr. Schuettinger instead utilizes the natural variety of his medium of choice: hardwoods. Some of his most intricate pieces use more than 40 different species of wood to build vibrant and visually dazzling mosaic patterns that must be seen to be believed. Mr. Schuettinger's old-world inspired craftsmanship ensures that his pieces will stand the test of time and remain functional for hundreds of years.
