Dr. Kelley is a retired librarian who spent 32 wonderful years in the field. Concluding her career at the Milton High School in Massachusetts in 1987 after 23 years, she held the same role for the Randolph Public Library from 1957 to 1964. Likewise, Dr. Kelley began her career as a physical science librarian at Brown University from 1955 to 1957.
First earning a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, at Boston University in 1954, Dr. Kelley then completed a Master of Arts at the same academic institution the following year. In 1972, she returned to her studies, obtaining a Master of Library Science at Simmons College. In 1992, Dr. Kelley concluded her education at Boston University, graduating with a Doctor of Education.
Outside of her career in library science, Dr. Kelley is a talented musician and artist who has been affiliated with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra, the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra and the Sharon Community Chamber Orchestra. She was also an active member of the Quincy Art Association, the Braintree Art Association, the Norwood Art Association and the Canton Art Association.
Born in Taunton, Mass., Dr. Kelley married Thomas Francis Kelley in August 1956. The proud mother of three sons, her family further includes 14 grandchildren. Dr. Kelley has been featured in every edition of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World since 2007 as well as the 25th through the 28th editions of Who's Who of American Women.
