Mr. Bonnesar obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in mathematics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and California State University, Los Angeles, respectively. While pursuing his master's degree, he was able to help a lot of young people by listening to their problems and guiding them on the right track, which allowed him to develop his love for helping younger generations.
Mr. Bonnesar began his career with the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company "Skunk Works" in various positions, including applications programmer, applications analyst, applications specialist, senior research specialist, research and development engineer and project manager. He also served as an instructor in the mathematics department at California State University, Los Angeles. Today, Mr. Bonnesar lends his expertise as the founder, owner, president and chief engineer of BONN Corporation. Through dedicated work in his field, Mr. Bonnesar was proudly able to save enough money to pay off his mother's house and surprise her with the deed in a Christmas card.
Civically, Mr. Bonnesar serves on the Computer Science Advisory Board and the College of Engineering Advisory Board at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has also authored four technical papers and briefings, and designed and developed computer-based mission planning tools to address major mission planning deficiencies identified in Operation Desert Storm. The software that he developed eventually resulted in the F-117 Target Area Planning module, which then became the principle target area, route, and strike package planning system used during Operation Allied Force.
For his accomplishments throughout his career, Mr. Bonnesar received the Tri-Service Combat Survivability Technical Award from the National Defense Industrial Association. His company, BONN Corporation, has also been recognized as a leader in the field by the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company and the United States Air Force. Today, in order remain aware of developments in his field, Mr. Bonnesar maintains affiliation with the Air Force Association, the Association of Old Crows, the National Defense Industrial Association, and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
