A retired special counsel at Fitzpatrick & Hunt, Tucker, Collier, Pagano, Aubert, LLP, Mr. Chiarchiaro formerly spent 37 years as a partner with Mendes & Mount, LLP, in New York, where he practiced aviation defense law. After graduating with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at Manhattan College and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from New York University, Mr. Chiarchiaro spent four years as an engineer with the U.S. Navy in Brooklyn, N.Y., followed by another five years with the U.S. Coast Guard in New York City while pursuing a JD at Brooklyn Law School. He has been admitted to the state courts of New York, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, several United States Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.
In 1998 Mr. Chiarchiaro was invested into the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, which is a Roman Catholic Order of Knighthood under the protection of the Holy See. He is a Decorated Knight Grand Cross and is currently the Chancellor of the Eastern Lieutenancy of the United States, which is comprised of the states of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the Bahamas. Mr. Chiarchiaro is also active as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a member of the Parish Pastoral Planning Council and a Confirmation Course Instructor at his parish of St. Ephrem in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, NY. He has been married to Judith Ann Penna since 1970, and the couple has one son.
Mr. Chiarchiaro has been cited in every edition of Who's Who in American since 1994, as well as approximately 30 editions of Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
