Additionally, Mr. Granger has become notably prolific as an author, having been published as a newspaper columnist and inspirational writer since 1972. For many years, he contributed to a weekly column in the religious section of the Dixon Tribute called "Len's Lines: A Little Religion on a Positive Note." Later, he would compile his writings for a book of the same name, which was published by WestBow Press in print and digitally. Most recently, Mr. Granger has furthered his career as an author with his pieces for Faithwriters.com.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Granger pursued an education at West High School in the Waterloo Community School District, from which he earned a diploma. He continued his academic efforts with completed coursework at Gates Waterloo Business College. Mr. Granger concluded his studies at Yuba College, graduating with a Diploma in Business.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Granger has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has maintained involvement as a member of the Elmira Baptist Church in Elmira, CA. Throughout the 1970s, he contributed Baptist preaching to religious broadcasts on multiple radio stations. Whilst active in his primary trade, he notably found success as the owner for the largest Ryder Truck rental company in Northern California as well as several rental properties. Furthermore, Mr. Granger completed 22 years of service in the United States Air Force, holding the role of Master Sergeant prior to his honorable discharge.
