In 2018, Cheol Hee Park was awarded an Academic Award by the Korean Knee Society.

Mr. Park has been a professor in the Department of Orthopedics Surgery at Kyung Hee Medical Center since 2018, after receiving a fellowship from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, he received an internship from the medical center in 2008 and then a residency that he completed between 2009 and 2012. He then worked as an army doctor in the Republic of Korea Army from 2013 to 2015. He became involved in his profession because he was very interested in orthopedic surgery, and he attributes his success to his hard work and the help of his loved ones including his wife, Seo Yeon Yoo, his parents, Jang Ho Park and Keum Hye Lee, and his teachers, Dae Kyung Bae and Sang Jun Song.
Mr. Park holds a Korea Medical Doctor's Certificate as well as a Korea Orthopedic Surgery Specialist's Certificate. After earning a master's degree, he went on to contribute ten articles to professional journals such as the Journal of Anthroplasty, Knee Surgery and Related Research, the Journal of Orthopedic Science, the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics and Traumatology: Surgery and Research, Haemophilia, and Clinics in Orthopedic Surgery. He also gave one presentation, "Positioning of Anterior Horn Bone Plug in Medial Meniscus Transplantation with ACL Reconstruction," at a conference for the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology in Cape Town, South Africa in 2017. In 2018, he was awarded an Academic Award by the Korean Knee Society. He continues to reside in Korea and in his spare time, he enjoys playing baseball, fishing, and reading books.
