Dr. Sang Duck Kim has excelled as a professor with Kyungnam University for many years. Earlier in his career, he gained experience with AmorePacific as the assistant manager of the cosmetic marketing division and with Samsung in the domestic sales division. Additionally, Dr. Kim served as a senior researcher with the Institute of Korean Distribution Channels.
Prior to starting with AmorePacific, Dr. Sang Duck Kim earned a Bachelor's degree in business administration from Yonsei University in 1993 and a Master's degree in marketing from Yonsei University in 1997. Later, he returned to his alma mater to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in marketing channels in 2004. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Kim has affiliated himself with the Korea Distribution Association, the Korean Strategic Marketing Association, the Korean Marketing Association and the Korean Marketing Management Association.
During his many years in the field, Dr. Sang Duck Kim has contributed his knowledge to a plethora of creative works, including "Distribution Trap," "Consumer Oriented Distribution Management," "Franchise Development" and "Marketing Channels," all of which have been co-authored alongside other industry scholars. Additionally, he has parlayed his knowledge to numerous articles in professional journals. For his professional accomplishments, he has earned numerous Excellent Paper Awards through such organizations as the Korea Distribution Association, the Korea Distribution & Logistics Policy Association and the Korean Strategic Marketing Association, and a Best Paper Award through The Korean Academic Association of Business Administration. In the near future, Dr. Kim intends to experience continued success at Kyungnam University.
