Didier Nolet has been honored with the Edward and Eleanor DeWitt Prize from the Chicago Show and the Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. DiMaria Award from the Union League Club in Chicago.

A member of the Chicago Society of Artists, Mr. Nolet is an artist in the Windy City, specializing in large-scale, oil-based landscape paintings that are influenced by his childhood memories. As a child, there was a large weeping willow outside his bedroom window. He has fond memories of being protected by nature in his own little hideout and now draws his inspiration from that time in his life. In addition to his studio, Mr. Nolet lends his artistic expertise as an instructor to the Evanston Art Center in Evanston, Illinois.
Trained at the world-famous Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France, Mr. Nolet had the honor of showing his work in many one-man and group exhibitions over the course of many years. The Chicago Cultural Center and the Rockford Art Museum in Rockford, Illinois both organized a ten-year survey of his work. He has shown in many galleries in Chicago, including Struve Gallery, Eva Cohen Gallery, Ann Nathan Gallery, Lydon Fine Art, Perimeter Gallery, Addington Gallery, Munson Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, MC Gallery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Suzanne Brown Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, Shona Gallery in Laguna Beach, California and Marilyn Pearl Gallery in New York City. Mr. Nolet is represented in numerous corporate art collections and art museums throughout the United States and France.
For his excellence in the field, Mr. Nolet has been honored with the Edward and Eleanor DeWitt Prize from the Chicago Show, the Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. DiMaria Award from the Union League Club in Chicago, the Award of Excellence from the North Shore Art League for the "New Horizons in Art" Show at the Chicago Cultural Center, the Award of Excellence for the "Flora 90" Show at the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Robert Rice Jenkins Memorial Prize from the Art Institute of Chicago. Over the years, his work has been selected for review by industry peers numerous times. Looking toward the future, Mr. Nolet intends to continue drawing inspiration from his childhood and life in general.
