For 45 years, Dr. Yeh has excelled in radiology education, especially in ultrasonography. Prior to starting in the field, Dr. Yeh earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from National Taiwan University and then served as a second lieutenant in the Taiwan Army. After completing an internship in the University of Alberta Hospital, he began working as an Active Medical Staff Member in Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Then he took 3 years residency training in diagnostic radiology and one year fellowship in diagnostic ultrasonography at Montreal General Hospital. In 1973, he began serving at Mount Sinai School of Medicine as an associate and rising through the ranks to full professor. Over the years, Dr. Yeh has also gained expertise through VA Hospital and Society of Radiologist in Ultrasound in which he was a fellow. A diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, he also affiliates himself with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, New York Roentgen Society, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, and Computerized Radiology Society.
Dr. Yeh has written a book with Dr. Harold A Mitty: "Radiology of the Adrenals with Ultrasonography and CT". He has also written many chapters to the books: "Progress in Liver Diseases", "Ultrasound Annual", "Ultrasonography of the Urinary Tract", "Surgical Management of Urologic Disease, An Anatomic Approach", "Endocrine Surgery" and "Ultrasonic Imaging in Clinical Medicine".
Due to his excellence in medicine, Dr. Yeh has been recognized with many awards for his Scientific Exhibits through the Radiological Society of North America and American Roentgen Ray Society among his 44 Scientific Exhibits. In addition, he has 55 paper-presentations and 134 invited lectures in the U.S.A. and abroad. He has been featured in numerous volumes of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who in the East. In the near future, Dr. Yeh intends to continue parlaying his knowledge to others in any way he can.
