Ms. Larsen served as the vice president of Bank One Corporation from 1990 to 1996. She began her banking career as a clerk at the Marine National Exchange Bank in Milwaukee, WI, from 1962 to 1964, and was then promoted to systems analyst from 1965 to 1974 and then to operations officer from 1975 to 1979. She was subsequently promoted as the bank's assistant vice president from 1980 to 1984, and then as its vice president from 1985 to 1989. She was also on the operations committee for Tyme, Inc., in Milwaukee from 1976 to 1978, and has served as president of the Milwaukee County Clearinghouse.
Ms. Larsen earned a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Alverno College in Milwaukee in 1981. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in management with a minor in communications from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee in 1986, and completed postgraduate work at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking of the University of Delaware that same year. Since graduating, she has contributed her time to a number of civic causes, volunteering at Nature Conservancy for one decade. She was also the director and an officer of the Alumnae Board of the Southeast Florida Archaeological Society from 1997 to 2007 and its president from 2006 to 2007. In addition, she has worked with organizations such as Martin County Parks and Recreation, and the student needs committee of Alverno College, while serving on its Alumnae Board.
Alongside her professional roles, Ms. Larsen has been a member of the National Association of Banking Women and was inducted into the National Honor Society at St. John's Cathedral High School. She was awarded the Exemplar Award by Alverno College and a Lifetime Pass to the Bowling Rocks Reserve on Jupiter Island, FL, and has also received two Certificates of Appreciation from Martin County Parks and Recreation, as well as one from the Florida Anthropological Society. She is listed in the 21st edition of Who's Who in the Midwest and the second edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
