In addition to providing his expertise to patients in his private practice, he has passed along his depth of knowledge as a psychiatrist and assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at New York University. Dr. Wuhl completed a fellowship in child psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center from 1977 to 1978, and was an attending staff, faculty member, resident in psychiatry and intern at New York Medical College from 1975 to 1977.
Board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Bologna, Italy in 1973, and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has authored multiple articles for the World Book Encyclopedia since 1980, and is co-author of a chapter in Psychosocial Aspects of Pediatric Care. Dr. Wuhl is an active member and life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a lifetime member of the American Medical Association, and a distinguished lifetime member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Since 2001, Dr. Wuhl has organized a series of bi-monthly seminars for the child and adolescent psychiatrists of New Jersey.
Born in New York City to Isadore and Sali (Ackner) Wuhl, Dr. Wuhl is married to Gail Wuhl. They have two daughters, Elise and Amy.
