With the development of the Woodburn Center for Community Health she became Director of Training and Research, and developed an APA-approved internship in clinical psychology.
A licensed psychologist in Maryland and Virginia, Dr. Daen holds a Bachelor of Science from Queens College and a Doctor of Philosophy from Adelphi University. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Register of Clinical Psychologists and the Eistophos Science Club of Washington, D.C. For her excellence in the field, she has been honored with inclusion into the 23rd edition of Who's Who in the East.
