Albert George Feczko was honored in 2018 with a Reader's Choice Gold Award from Pittsburgh Tribune Total Media
PITTSBURGH, PA, October 24, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Albert George Feczko, Esq., with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Feczko celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A sole practitioner of law, Mr. Feczko is now a semi-retired attorney who practiced for more than 50 wonderful years. Entering the field as an associate with Mercer & Buckley in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1966, he was the founding and Senior partner of Feczko & Seymour, also in Pittsburgh, between 1971 and 2007 when they dissolved the firm and he became a Sole Practitioner. Working on his own since that time, Mr. Feczko is a general practice attorney located in Upper St. Clair, PA.
During his tenure, Mr. Feczko devoted 24 years as an arbitrator and mediator for the Western District of the U.S. District Court of Pennsylvania between 1993 and 2017. Active locally, he was a solicitor for Glenfield Boro in Pennsylvania between 1980 and 2008 and continues to serve as a longtime solicitor for the Zoning Hearing Board of Greentree, PA, since 1993. A former president of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and former vice president of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Mr. Feczko remains a longtime member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
One of Mr. Feczko's favorite memories as an attorney was handling a case for a physician against Blue Cross Blue Shield. So successful, it set a precedent in the legal field. He later received many calls from attorneys around the country inquiring about the case.
Honored in 2018 with a Reader's Choice Gold Award from Pittsburgh Tribune Total Media, Mr. Feczko has been highlighted in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the East between 1992 and 2012. He was recognized as one of America's Most Honored Professionals in 2016 - 2018. He has been rated by Judges and his peers in Martindale-Hubbell as an AV Pre-Eminent Attorney, one of the top 1% of Attorneys in America for over 40 years. Originally studying engineering while working toward his undergraduate degree, Mr. Feczko then switched to mathematics, earning a Bachelor of Science in mathematics at the University of Detroit in 1961. With plans to pursue an MBA, he instead took the LSAT with his dorm roommate, who was already preparing for it. Doing well on the test, he entered law school, earning a Bachelor of Law degree at Duquesne University in 1964. Soon thereafter, he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association, followed by the Pennsylvania Supreme, Superior, Commonwealth and Local Courts, Third Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. Claims Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Just after completing his law degree, Mr. Feczko notably served two years in the U.S. Army Infantry between 1964 and 1966, and received an Honorable discharge as a Captain.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Albert George Feczko, Esq., has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
