A longtime lover of auto racing, Mr. Czacki was most recently on the executive council of the manufacturing extension of the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center in El Paso, TX, between 2005 and 2008. Having been involved with manufacturing for over 40 years, he began his career as an engineer at Fisher Body GM Corporation in Trenton, NJ, in 1966, making his way up to engineering manager and superintendent before leaving in 1981. He then worked at Inland Fisher Guide GM Corporation in Detroit, MI, as a quality director for four years, transferring shortly after to its office in Logroño, Spain, as the engineering and manufacturing director. He served in several positions at a number of manufacturing corporations internationally and one position teaching at the University of Texas before settling at his current company.
Originally from Poland, Mr. Czacki immigrated with his family to the United States at a young age in 1948. Nearly two decades later, he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Flint, MI, in 1966. He went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University two years later. During this time, he also became certified as a national scrutineer and driving instructor through the Sports Car Club of America. Much later, he participated in the Employment, Education, and Economic Development Consortium sponsored by the Upper Rio Grande Work Force Development Board in El Paso in 2005.
Throughout his long career, Mr. Czacki has taught automotive vehicle dynamics courses at 20 colleges to prepare students for careers in professional auto racing industry and has saved numerous jobs in the United States. He is an 11-time Conference and Division Champion, three-time Regional Driver of the Year, and Certified Technical Inspector of the Sports Car Club of America, and also enjoys boating in his spare time. He is listed in the 37th edition of Who's Who in Finance and Business and the 26th edition of Who's Who in the World, as well as several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in the West.
