Prior to obtaining her current role, she worked as a staff accountant with the firm from 1984 to 1991. Earlier in her career, Ms. Morris excelled as a staff accountant with Arthur Anderson from 1981 to 1984.
Ms. Morris began her career as a student at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1981. A respected leader in her industry, she has been affiliated with a number of organizations in her areas of expertise, including the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants. Likewise, she was the treasurer for the Central Louisiana chapter of the Society of Certified Professional Accountants, for which she was further appointed to the board of directors. Ms. Morris also served as president, secretary treasurers, and a member of the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Alexandria, LA.
Ms. Morris has been an active member of her community, contributing as assistant treasurer, treasurer, and committee chair for the Junior League of Alexandria. Furthermore, she found success as a Sunday school teacher, on the staff of parish relations, on the children's council, as chair of the youth council, on the administrative council, on the family life team, and on the finance committee for First United Methodist Church. Ms. Morris has also held the positions of treasurer of City Park Players Community Theater, member of the Cabrini Foundation, and coach with Crossroads Soccer.
Throughout her career, Ms. Morris has been recognized with awards and accolades for her achievements and accomplishments. She has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in Finance and Industry. In her free time, Ms. Morris enjoys reading, roller hockey and water skiing.
