Since 2008, Dr. Aziza Nassar has served as an associate professor of pathology at the Mayo Clinic.

A fellow of the College of American Pathologists, Dr. Nassar earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Khartoum, as well as a Master of Business Administration, and finally a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics from the George Washington University. She has also excelled as the chair of the pathology department at the Mayo Clinic. Although pathology is a male-dominated field, Dr. Nassar worked hard, defied expectations and has found much success in her field.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Nassar is affiliated with the American Society of Cytopathology and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. For her professional accomplishments, she has been selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders.
