Backed by more than 40 years of practiced industry experience, Ms. Victor has been serving as a neonatal nurse practitioner for Children's Hospital in St. Paul, MN, since 2001, where she also worked as a clinical nurse specialist in the neonatal Intensive Care Unit from 1988 to 2001 and a clinical instructor in the neonatal Intensive Care Unit from 1984 to 1986.
At the inception of her career, Ms. Victor honed her nursing expertise as a staff nurse with St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Over the years, she also gained valuable experience as a clinical nurse specialist in the neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Orlando Regional Medical Center for two years. In a career filled with highlights, she is especially proud of teaching the Stable Program, which involved instructing people on how to stabilize sick babies until transport teams could take them to centers.
A certified neonatal nurse practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Ms. Victor holds a Bachelor of Arts in nursing from the College of St. Scholastica and a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Minnesota. Subsequently, she pursued neonatal nursing studies through St. Catherine University. In an effort to remain abreast of changes in the field, she has maintained affiliation with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, where she won the Critical Care Nurse of the Year Award from the Greater Twin Cities chapter in 1992, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and the Academy of Neonatal Nursing.
In light of her accomplishments, Ms. Victor has been highlighted in the third edition of Who's Who Among Human Service Professionals and the 25th edition of Who's Who in the Midwest, as well as multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Nursing, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
