After accruing more than 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Ramstein retired from his role as an independent financial and systems consultant in 2013 after serving in the role for two years. Earlier in his career, he became a senior internal auditor for the County of Los Angeles in 1975 before joining Alexander Grant & Company as a management consultant in 1978. Over the years, he also gained valuable expertise in roles with Hughes Aircraft Company as head of accounting, TRW, Inc., as manager of finance reporting and manager of special projects and systems in the space and electronics group, and Northrop Grumman as senior business manager of velocium products. During his work with TRW, he worked on a project called "Contracts Closeout," which involved closing contracts which were previously left open. He hired a team of contractors and successfully completed the project. Once it was completed, he was asked to work with the company's velocium division in light of his expertise.
An expert in his field, Mr. Ramstein holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Beta Gamma Sigma.
In light of his outstanding achievements, Mr. Ramstein was featured in professional publications such as Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. In the coming years, Mr. Ramstein intends to enjoy his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoys acting, playing the piano, songwriting and playing aquatic sports. He currently has a significant number of sound recordings under review by the U.S. Copyright Office.
