With 55 years of professional experience, Mr. Tice has excelled as the pastor of congregational care and worship at Milford First United Methodist Church since 2015. Prior to his current role, he worked as the senior pastor at the First Wesleyan Church from 1973 to 2008 and at the Wheaton Wesleyan Church from 1970 to 1973. He additionally served as a minister and a chaplain at the Oak Hills Wesleyan Church and the Mayo Clinic from 1966 to 1970 as well as an assistant pastor at the First Wesleyan Church from 1964 to 1966. Earlier in his career, Mr. Tice found success as a minister with the Sims Methodist Church from 1963 to 1964.
Mr. Tice initially pursued an education at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in religion. After obtaining some experience in the field, he continued his studies with a Master of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University in 1992. Mr. Tice has been ordained in ministry by the Wesleyan Church.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Tice has been active with a number of organizations. The former president of the Rochester Ministerial Alliance and the Bossier City Alliance, he was appointed to the district board of advisors for Delta District Wesleyan Church. A former chaplain and consultant for the Bossier Medical Center Hospice Program, Mr. Tice further held the post of the president of the Bossier City Kiwanis Club and the Bossier Clean City Committee.
Throughout his career, Mr. Tice has received many honors for his accomplishments. He has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in American, Who's Who in Religion, and Who's Who in the South and Southwest. Moreover, Mr. Tice has been recognized as a trustee of the Bossier Medical Center.
