Ms. Antinozzi is a retired certified building operator who spent nearly three decades in the hospitality industry. Working in Atlantic City, New Jersey, she spent her entire career with Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino. First hired as a mechanic in 1979, she progressed to shift manager from 1980 to 1984 and to assistant manager from 1984 to 1985. Beginning in 1985, Ms. Antinozzi served as the director of facilities and engineering of Bally's until she retired in 2008.
Fortunate to have enjoyed such a long and prestigious career at Bally's, Ms. Antinozzi was able to continuously advance throughout the years. She is incredibly proud of the fact that she was promoted directly from assistant manager to director without ever holding the role of manager. A single mother working in a very male dominated field, Ms. Antinozzi is incredibly appreciative of the opportunities she was afforded over the years.
Throughout her career, Ms. Antinozzi was active with several professional organizations as well. Serving as the president of the SJ Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute as well as the Secretary of the Mid-Atlantic Division of Construction Specifications from 1989 to 2001. Ms. Antinozzi is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives and the Association of Professional Energy Management, and a volunteer with the Schultz-Hill Foundation as well as several other organizations in Atlantic County.
Ms. Antinozzi has always been involved in her community on various levels. From 1969 to 1970, she was active on the steering committee of Red Bank Regional High School in Red Bank, New Jersey. She then served as a member of the board of elections for Monmouth County from 1970 to 1975 and was a was a Parent Teacher Association charter member for the Red Bank Borough Public Schools in 1970. Active with the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern Jersey for many years between 1983 and 2009, she is also a member of the Atlantic County Metropolitan Business & Citizens Association. Since 2014, Ms. Antinozzi has served on the board of trustees for the Atlantic County Women's Hall of Fame and, since 1990, she has been the chairman of the planning committee for the Atlantic County Women's Center. Furthermore, she has been an active volunteer with the Absecon Lighthouse since 2008, serves on the board of Trustees for the Atlantic County Women's Hall of Fame, and was on the Board of the Atlantic County Women's Center from 1999 through 2004.
Inducted into the Atlantic County Women's Hall of Fame in 2002, Ms. Antinozzi has also been cited in the 17th edition of Who's Who of American Women. Prior to embarking on her career, she notably completed coursework at Monmouth University, Atlantic Cape Community College and Rowan College at Burlington County. Ms. Antinozzi has been certified as a building operator since 2001.
A mother of three, Ms. Antinozzi now has 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling and walking.
