After accruing 65 years of professional excellence, Mr. Sakall retired and now serves as senior chaplain with Love Thy Neighbor Ministry. At the beginning of his career, he excelled in ministry and education with three Presbyterian churches in Michigan and one in Indiana, the University of Arizona, Cochise College and Yavapai College, as well as the U.S. Navy. Throughout his career, Mr. Sakall has found much success, teaching eighteen different subjects at the collegiate and graduate school levels, while working full-time with the Superior Court of Arizona to bring professional rehabilitation to offenders.

In addition to publishing a book with Alan Harrington, he authored "100 Words to God from Genesis," "100 Words in Dialogue with Holy Spirit" and "100 Words in Dialogue with Christ," which was co-authored with Carol Gulley. Mr. Sakall also penned "You're Just Smart Enough for Hell" in 2008.
Ordained as a minister at Southfield Community Church in 1955 and later as a ruling elder through the Presbyterian Church in America, Mr. Sakall has earned a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College, a Bachelor of Theology from William Tyndale College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arizona. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with the Association for Psychiatric Offenders International and the Southern Arizona Mental Health Association. For his professional excellence, he was presented with the Most Articulate Speaker Award from the Western Interstate Conference on Higher Education and was honored as a chartered member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Looking toward the future, Mr. Sakall intends to continue enjoying his retirement.
