With 20 years of experience in the realm of computer science education, Dr. Lee currently serves as an associate professor at Ming Chuan University. Following the example of his most inspiring professors, he received a Bachelor of Science in computer science and information engineering from I-Shou University, one year before accepting a position as a teaching assistant at National Chung Cheng University in 1999. Concurrently with his professional pursuits, he remained committed to continuing his academic journey, earning a Master of Science in 2000. Dr. Lee departed from Chung Cheng in 2006, having obtained a Doctor of Philosophy and ready to move on to the next stage of his professional endeavors.
Dr. Lee found further success at Toko University in 2007, joining their faculty as an assistant professor and the deputy chair of their department of animation and game design. After a year, he transitioned away from these roles and subsequently affiliated with Ming Chuan University, where he has served as the deputy chair of the department of computer and communication engineering and an associate professor. Whilst building upon his impressive credentials in the field, Dr. Lee has received certification in such areas as e-Enterprise data analysis, creative application programming, and application development engineering from the Computer Skills Foundation. Over the years, Dr. Lee has contributed more than 20 technical papers to professional journals, and presented at more than 15 scientific conferences.
A respected voice in his area of expertise, Dr. Lee has enjoyed various honors and accolades for his outstanding work. These most recently included a Senior Excellent Teacher Award from the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, an Excellent Student Award from Ming Chuan University, and a plethora of research grants. To stay up to date on developments in his field, he maintains association with several organizations and societies in the field, namely the Association of Algorithms and Computation Theory, the Association for Computing Machinery and the American Mathematical Society. When not immersed in his studies, Dr. Lee enjoys reading, jogging, and international travel.
