A registered financial consultant, Mr. Frishman first studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology from 1956 to 1959, going on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961. After studying at Yale University from 1961 to 1962, he went on to achieve a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971. Currently a financial planner for LJF Financial where he has served since 1990, Mr. Frishman started out as a planner for the City of Pittsburgh, working in this capacity from 1962 to 1965.
As his career progressed, Mr. Frishman worked as a housing specialist and community organizer for the Hill House Association, planning consultant and senior associate for Barton-Ashman Associates, Inc., and economic development specialist for the State of Illinois. He has also worked as director of planning for the City of Peoria, Illinois, as well as the City of Albuquerque. In 1961, he was honored as a National Defense Foreign Language Fellow by the United States government.
Through his professional endeavors with Enterprise Management, where he has served as a consultant, Mr. Frishman has notably developed systems for planning and implementing urban redevelopment projects. His efforts have resulted in projects in Fort Lincoln as well as Minneapolis. In addition to his other numerous accomplishments, Mr. Frishman became a fellow at the R.K. Mellon Foundation in 1967 and a Housing and Urban Development fellow in 1967. As a testament to his success, he was featured in the 30th edition of Who's Who in Finance and Industry in 1997.
