Dr. Perez has also co-authored multiple publications at the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer Research Journal, Blood and others.
An expert in her field, Dr. Perez has earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (Pre-Med) from the University of Philippines at Los Banos and a Medical Degree (MD) from Our Lady of Fatima University where she has been awarded twice as Distinguished Alumna for her contributions in cancer research. Dr. Perez also obtained a Master's Degree in Forensic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, she recently graduated at Northcentral University (NCU) and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education major in Organizational Leadership. Her PhD dissertation is entitled "The Effects of the Filipino Culture on Transformational Leadership and Innovation Propensity in a Higher Educational Institution". Dr. Perez is also an active member of the academia as a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Cagayan Valley in the Philippines.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Perez is affiliated with the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Cancer Research, and the European Society of Medical Oncology.
