Following many years of pharmacy practice experience, Mr. Molitor now serves as Pharmacist-in-Charge at AXIS Pharmacy NW where he has been since 2016. Additionally, he holds an appointment from the University of Washington as a Clinical Assistant Professor, having served on their Clinical Affiliate Faculty since 1986. Mr. Molitor has significant experience in pharmacy management, home infusion therapy, managed care services, as well as pharmacy internet services.
Although his career has been filled with highlights (often being the first in the nation presenting new therapeutic options and patient experiences with said options), Mr. Molitor has been especially proud of work done early in his career helping develop novel sterile formulations for epidural then intrathecal administration to support the use of new infusion device technology.
Mr. Molitor earned his Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Practice from the University of Washington. Other professional achievements include participating in a variety of Washington State Board of Pharmacy/Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission projects, becoming the first pharmacist certified in the Pacific Northwest to provide the Rxight® DNA Test System, being recognized for his early web prresence with the Website of the Week award from American Pharmacist Magazine, and, for his work with end-stage HIV patients receiving infusion therapies, was awarded one of the first Certificates of Innovation by the American College of Physician Executives.
In addition to his professional work Mr. Molitor has been involved in his local community serving as his HOA President for 4 years (along with many more years as a Board Member and Finance Committee) as well as volunteer work with both educational and political groups.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Molitor intends to expand on his literature contributions and perhaps also further develop his interests in photography and astronomy.
